He said he was also concerned about Alito's membership in Concerned Alumni of Princeton, which discouraged the admission of women and minorities at the Ivy League school.

A lie repeated often enough.....

Senators Max Baucus, Barbara Mikulski Say 'No' on Alito

Good. Then I don't need to reconsider my support of him...

I have the feeling the dems will fillibuster Alito. Hell, Bacus is still citing to an article that has proven to be satire. They don't let the facts get in the way, they just craft their own reality and run with it.

Baucus said he is concerned that Alito leans toward giving too much power to the executive branch and has wavered on the right to privacy. He said he was also concerned about Alito's membership in Concerned Alumni of Princeton

Being a member of a group 30 years ago is enough to vote against someone? It is not like this group was the KKK.

""He's just not right for Montana, he's just not right for America," Baucus said."

Good, that's Demo-rat speak for "he's a good, solid family man with strong Christian values and will vote against Roe".

"He's just not right for Montana, he's just not right for America," Baucus said. "He's very polished and he answered all of the questions I was going to ask. There is just a little too much inconsistency."

He answered the questions, eh? Well, we can't have that!

The correct conformation margin is 60-40. A vote of 61-39 would indicate that we could have nominated a guy who was slightly more of a Constitutionalist.

"I have a lot of unanswered questions," Mikulski told reporters . . .

For example, would the voters still love me if I got a face transplant?

Senator Mikulski has "a lot of unanswered questions"

No kidding. She still hasn't answered MY question to her office about why she wasn't embarrassed by Al Gore's campaign tossing military ballots in FL in the 2000 election.
