It should be noted that the the publicly accessible page at Family Pride Coalition’s website has been changed since Tolley quoted from it. In November it asked that no one link to it and to keep it a secret. In December it said to not link, but email announcements were alright. Between my January 5th post and today, the site has changed again. The please-keep-it-quiet has been replaced with this message: “If you think this is a great idea and you want to be a part of it, please sign-up. Even if you’re not sure yet, we need you to sign up now so we can plan and organize effectively. If you sign up, we will continue to send you developing information about the event.”

Welcome back!! Good to see you posting again, and pinging of course!

On another note, and back on track, this is more of the same from "giblet", use the kids to get in the face of anyone who doesn't agree with them. Use the kids t get what they want. It's wrong, and criminally selfish!

They should not have children, and they should not be allowed to marry. Sorry, but that's reality. Marriage may be broken in America, thanks to these same libs pushing welfare and divorce, but you DO NOT FIX something that's broken by breaking it some more. You don't fix a busted ankle by breaking the whole leg, and not mending either one!

"Don't stoop to their level"

Morally, of course, we are not. We are normal families. We do not practice similar perversions of sexuality, so how can we stoop to their level?

I gather from your website that you are concerned about the visual consequences of a counterprotest. Granted. I am only suggesting that if these GBLTs are Freeped, they suddenly won't be acting so nice and `just like verybody else'. Homosexuals are fiercely intolerant of those whom they label as `breeders'. Think for a moment, that which they regard as a high-powered insult, is what normal people do naturally: conceive, bear, and rear children under the love and care of a mother and a father.

I say, smoke them out and enrage them. Works every time.

They've really mastered the PR thing. Never mind that they are all products of heterosexuality as are their so-called children. Every last one!!!!!

The government really has become the enemy of children.

""Secondly, why announce this participation if the purpose wasn't to "crash" the Egg Roll? They knew darned well that announcing their plans would draw this response and then they have the audacity to cry about the "extremists"! I'm so tired of these people always wishing to force themselves onto everyone. ""

But this is one of the biggest schemes they are perpetrating on America. There is no hate toward them, never was, so they decided to incite it. First claim it where it doesn't exist, invent instances where it has happened, create a poster child so to speak. Then seize any opposition as an example of hate. Then, actively (activists) push the agenda in order to incite hate that never existed but will if we push our agenda long enough and in enough places. If hate didn't exist, surely it will when the conservatives have had enough.

It all part of the plan. We need to find real affirmative ways of throwing things back at them, foil their whole manifest. But without physical attacks. We could start with bumper stickers or something saying Jesus loves you and is waiting for you. How long will you keep him waiting?

The only solace I find in this debacle is the knowledge that these perverted freaks will burn in a special place in hell!

Turn it into a circus.
ERROR!
Don't stoop to their level. You'll lose.

The camera doesn't make distinctions about "stooping to their level." The camera and the MSM (they'll all show up now) will lap this up like honey. The gay "families" will do something obnoxious at the Easter egg roll, you can bet on it, and the PR will be terrible for Bush and the Admin. If the Bush Admin lets this happen, then they deserve what they will get.

If I were the straight families who had planned to attend, I would be writing to the White House saying that if the gay families will be showing up in droves, they will not attend. Then the WH is presented with the fact that the only ones attending will all be gay families. Then let them figure out what to do. My guess is, at that point, they would act with alacrity to make it an invite event, rather than be presented with the possibility of an all-gay Easter egg roll hunt.

It's always been about them their entire lives...And now it's about them as "GAY parent"...not "gay PARENT"

All I can say is, when my child was a toddler, there would have been no way in the world I would have exposed him to the Gay Days White House Easter Egg Hunt.

Your sarcasm is misplaced, I think. What is at issue here is not necessarily that homosexual "couples" will be showing up with children. The issue is that they are politicizing it.

Do you think there would be any issue here if a bunch of homosexuals showed up at random for this event with some kids in tow?

Of course not.

It is the fact that this is a concerted effort to push the homosexuality issue down the throats of people in a forum where it doesn't have any business being the issue.

They may try to take the Easter Bunny, and Corporate Christmas and whatever else they think will legitemize themselves. They can have it all too...all my kids need is Jesus.

Thanks for the posts. Shows the true colors of these militant perversion activists. I truly feel sorry for those two boys, the bulldykes will have them emasculated (psychologically speaking) before they ever have the chance to be real men. Wonder where the boys father/s are?

You are stooping to their level by using a national family event to further a political goal. Secondly, you will be doing so at the expense of the families attending "It's unfortunate for the real families present", and doing so by deceit and provocation "goad the GBLT (pronounced `giblet') "families" into angry confrontations". All of that taints your moral high ground.

The best way to deal with this is to not give them what they want, which is special attention. Show up way ahead to get first tickets, wear similarly themed t-shirts to dilute their message (God loves families, Christ & Easter, etc). And, last but not least, pray for them.

The PR will only be terrible if people make a fuss. If it's emphasized this event is for the kids, and anything else detracts from that, then it's the gay families that will look like the event hijackers that they are.
Additionally, I think it's all the more important that the regular families attend, preferably in great numbers. It would burn the activists even more to have all those regular families there, paying them no attention.

"The White House is handling this right. Anyone is allowed to show up.

The best response would be to ignore this. If the gay crowd wants to politicize this, the White House staff should have ways to deal with it. "If you have a question of the president, please write it down and we'll see that he gets it." "We need everyone to stay in line so that we can get all of you in."

Basically, the gay and lesbian crowd would either have to follow the rules or see headlines the following day "Gay protest forces cancellation of Easter Egg Roll." I don't think any activist group wants to be associated with making kids cry. And if they do, they could cost the left 5 points in the polls."

I totally agree. People need to shelve the hysterical ranting. The gay crowd is looking to provoke a reaction that will make conservatives look like hate mongers and bigots. And you can bet your last dollar the left wing media is waiting for someone to step up and start going off about the "faggot queer fudge packers... " etc and run it on prime time TV. Best advice is leave them alone and make it a non event. If something does happen then it will be clearly their fault. On a side note... its a free country. And freedom means others being able to do things you don't agree with and maybe even find morally repulsive. Sometimes you just gotta swallow hard and bite your tongue. This is one of those times.

you must have been asleep the last decade or so since the homo's started demanding entry into every parade a city has, parades primarily for families.
