Having a hard time working up any sympathy for people who are waiting for "refunds" on taxes they never paid to begin with.

Especially since right now I am filling out my tax forms and contemplating the thousands upon thousands I am paying.... and not even a little "refund".

Just think of them as "less fortunate" as in you are very "fortunate" to have worked hard and made a living for yourself .

Isn't the point about the law unto itself of the I.R.S. and not the manner in which the returns are arrived at for those involved.
BTW. Get a better accountant or tax lawyer if you are paying thousands upon thousands of dollars in income tax.
