I grew up in MA and for the life of me, I cannot see why anyone, nationally, supported this guy. As Howie said, it is common knowledge in MA, both with Republicans and Democrats, that John Forbes Kerry is now and has always been an empty suit. Local Democrats make fun of him. He is a pretender, a poser, a fraud. What keeps him in the office he has is a total mystery to me.
Kerry's their junior senator. He's not a Kennedy so I'll conclude the MA majority of voters are left wing AND believe the Kennedy name lends class.
Some people in Massachusett have to have more brain cells than that!
