Is beating up nerds and geeks considered manly? The real problem lies in the neglect of education of boys. After all, nerds and geeks(generally un-manly) are reviled, but jocks(generally airheads and football players) are the real boys. I'm sure the high school kids see it that way.

It is opposite for girls. Slutty and airhead girls sure are not looked up as good girls, where as nerdy girls are good and pious.
