North American Cooperative Security Act

North American Cooperative Security Act, H.R.2672 and S. 853, seems to be a grand move toward effectively removing our borders with Canada and Mexico. It also forms security teams containing officers from both U. S. and Mexico, together.

Yup, Katherine Harris is the main sponsor in the House. I think it might be a CFR initiated bill.

Doesn't hitching your wagon to Mexico with regard to security sound wonderful?

Here's a nation that has no respect whatsoever for our sovereignty, and our leaders want them to help us with our safety.

You couldn't make this stuff up...

I'd suspect a few voices in the wilderness is about it.

Everyone in DC seems hell bent on setting up an American Union.

When this happens, the Latin American countries will help set up rules we live under. Who in their right mind...

From the article at your link:

At the same time, our Task Force recommends that all three governments define and defend a continental perimeter. This means that all three governments have to have confidence that a terrorist has no more chance of entering their own country as their neighbors. A common exclusion list, better intelligence-sharing, and combined training are needed. The three governments should establish a “North American Customs and Immigration Force,” composed of officials trained together in a single professional school, and they should fashion procedures to streamline border-crossing documentation. The Department of Homeland Security should expand its mission to include continental security— a shift best achieved by incorporating Mexican and Canadian perspectives and personnel into its design and operation.

Voila. The elimination of the borders of the United States of America.

FIGHT NA COOPERATIVE SECURITY ACT
Sunday, January 22, 2006 - FreeMarketNews.com

The North American Cooperative Security Act (S.853 & H.R.2672) on the surface appears to benefit the U.S. economy and protect us from terrorism, by opening our borders with Canada and Mexico and creating a common zone of "protection." The plan is proposed for completion by 2010 and entails creating "The North American Union" (Mexico, Canada, & U.S.). Stripped of its lofty title and rhetoric, this legislation will destroy America as we know it.

We must lobby Congress to stop this unconstitutional legislation and oppose being harmonized to international standards that are anti-freedom. The implementation of a European-Union-type status with Mexico and Canada paralleling the current UK and EU situation for the sake of a "tariff free zone" is a farce. We must fight to retain our constitutional rights and DSHEA freedoms, which freedoms will cease to exist once we are harmonized to international UN Codex standards.

If this legislation passes, there will be even more surveillance and controls over innocent, law-abidding American citizens. Our customs and laws will be lost. Our own FDA has stated on its website in no uncertain terms that its goal is to harmonize our laws with international laws and standards, which not surprisingly mesh better with the FDA's anti-consumer views than our own health-freedom principles. In fact, the FDA is already holding meetings with its counterparts in Canada and Mexico via the Trilateral Cooperation Charter to this end, even though The North American Security Act has not even been passed.

Don't let this become one of your last acts of exercising your constitutional rights. Fight back along with the National Health Federation to turn America away from this disastrous road to harmonization and union that will result in the loss of our health and other freedoms.

Perhaps with a paranthetical (Bill will abolish U.S. borders) after the headline??

Yeah, I know, a true conservative and/or patriot would never support such garbage like NAFTA, CAFTA and GATT. I can see some provisions of the Patriot Act but we need to go thru it to toss out the bad and keep the good.

The national border of the USA will be a vestigal line on the map only, if our security is left up to Mexican officials.

But you know that. You just can't tell the truth here, without admitting your true agenda.
