Murtha has been already destroyed because we exposed his cut and run policy in Iraq and this has greatly damaged the Democrat party on the national security issue. It is politically stupid to go after his war record and that why all the Republican leadership, the vast majority of Republicans and conservatives, the most prominent conservative talk show hosts did not bring this stupid subject of Murtha medals because they know it will shift the debate and work in the benefit of the democrats. The vast majority of us have brains! and that is why we keep winning elections and do not go wackos like the democrats.

Marc Morano should be on all the shows. They can't really touch him. He's got his facts and presents them well. When CNS reported that the WMD had been found, no lib would look at it. (My brother included) If someone as articulate as Morano could be out there at least on FOX, it would be great.

BTW, I noticed "Seminar Caller" types hitting the call in to Fox & Friends yesterday. I couldn't bear to watch today. Fox better get with the program, as these lib callers left them looking pretty stupid. (The callers said that they wanted illegals to have maps to save their lives more than they wanted to keep out terrorists.)

Maybe these medals were issued through the same Navy connections that helped Kerry out. A phony medal mill for Democrat political prospects.

Those who issue the medals under false pretenses have the goods on the recipients and can make or break them. Maybe Boorda didn't follow directions as well as Kerry and Murtha.

I'm tired of all these fake Hero's that the democraps keep coming up with. I'm a disabled Nam combat vet and I'll guarantee you that I have never seen any of these blow hards at a Military or Va facility.
I want to give them a personal message.
Go tell your BS stories to someone else. The vets that I see at the VA clinic don't want to hear you crap or even see you face. We have all heard a million stories and none of us want to have to listen to another BS war story.

On the other hand, I disagree with your points about Murtha and Morano. First, it is important to inform the public that Murtha is probably not the "war hero" that the Democrats want to portray. This will make Murtha less credible as a Bush critic, which can only be helpful. Second, Morano is essentially unknown on a national level and so his appearances on interview shows don't come off like some kind of a mean-spirited gang attack by the Republicans. It's smart for the Republicans to let others handle this kind of stuff in the same way they let the Swift Boat Vets expose Kerry.

It isn't just an issue of Murtha being a"Bush Critic". He is actively undermining US efforts to get Iraq back on it's feet. Being an ex Intel type, Murtha knows his comments feed the insurgency resulting in increased US casualties. After voting to send them in, his actions are evil.
