"accidentally went off"

Love it......went off. Sheesh.

The child accidentally pulled the trigger and the bullet accidentally flew out of the barrel and it accidentally flew into the girl.

This reminds me of how car accidents are described " a driver was killed by an SUV on the beltway".. Like the actual SUV went off on it's own and killed someone with no assistance from the bad driver.

My father kept the triggers on his handguns so tight that I couldn't pull the trigger until I was like ten. Even then, we knew not to touch any of his guns or my dad would kick our asses.

ps- I spent 1/2 hr explaining to my wife that guns don't accidentally go off, while I was cleaning them last weekend.
