A filibuster is a radical tool. It's easy to see why Democrats are frightened of it.

Of course they aren't frightened of it because they've already used it on multiple occasions.

What the author really means is that the RATS are frightened to use that tactic RIGHT NOW because they know their appeal among the American voters is already circling the drain.

You know, this IS a fight to the death, isn't it?

Yes it is, Howlin. Hard core leftists (socialists & communists) have truly taken over the democrat party.

While everyone was asleep at the wheel decades ago, they managed to co-opt the news media and the education establishment. Joseph McCarthy, may God bless his soul, set communism back 40 years. This time, we need to be smarter about it by constantly exposing their lies and hypocrisy.

We'll win eventually, but we better roll up our sleeves and be prepared for many bloody battles. Like you said, it is truly a fight to the death.

Let's enjoy this while we can. Politics is cyclical.

Looking at the possible outcomes I think the rats will see filibuster as politically advantageous in at least the short term and it could pay off big time if they stop Alito.

This much I believe...the Democrats in the lead have no political sense beyond serving the extremists in their party. They lose elections, their Senate leader loses his seat and yet they continue down the same path.

Judge Samuel Alito Jr., whose entire history suggests that he holds extreme views about the expansive powers of the presidency and the limited role of Congress, will almost certainly be a Supreme Court justice soon.

No bias at all.

How's that stock price doing?
