This is why Bush looks like a phony when it comes to protecting the homeland. Bush wants the money from big business for cheap labor rather than protecting Americans from terrorists, drug dealers, rapists and murderers. This is issue number one for many people.

Isnt it funny how not one of those pointy head liberal elitist reporters posed a question to Bush at his press conference on Thursday re. border security and illegal immigration. No one cares about tapping phone conversations of suspected AlQuida members but that is all they kept asking him about.

I cant wait for his state of the union speech where Bush will try to force the Amnesty issue on us - just like his dad Bush is an elitist that ignores his base. When the republicans get voted out of office it will be Bush/Rove's undoing for the most part.

Oh cry me a river, anti-capitalist!

No Bush isn't seeking "big money" from "businesses for cheap labor". I'd bet he'd like to eliminate over priced unions from extorting high wages which in turn translate to over priced products. What he wants is to keep wages in line for this kind of work.

What Bush has to get real on is that not everyone sneaking over here is looking for a "better life" and wanting to pay social security to minimize the HUGE bill coming due. While Americans are murdering 48 million babies a year or four thousand babies a day, SOME of the illegals are contributing to our economy and others are paying social security that are legal. THIS is the group he wants, however it must be done legally and they need to be carefully screened and illegals thrown the hell out of here.

they protect themselves from the illegal immigration and let the rest of us deal with it...

Elitists hang with their own kind, why are the rest of us dealing with this stuff?

Nahhhh.... I'm glad that the number one thing that seems to be on the mind of the justice department these days, is going after porn and prostitution! The most important thing that the government can do these days is to protect us from the "international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids."

And you know, that's what porn and prostitution do!

Last year, Kansas City came close to setting an all time record for murders, but the feds had plenty of time, money, and other resources to work with local law enforcement agencies, and coordinate stings and busts all over the metro area... I guess it's a lot easier, safer, and makes for better TV when you can see scantily clad girls being handcuffed, than actually trying to solve murders.

And don't even get me started on the border, especially what with the acts of war committed by the Mexican military! Maybe the US is just trying to set a good example for Israel, by saying, "just forgive them when they come into your country and murder your people," or just launch rockets over the border.
