Muslims in the Austrian city of Linz are demanding that all schoolteachers must wear a head scarf; here is a Google translation of an article at Austrian news site kurier.at: Fathers want head cloth for teachers.
Three Muslim fathers demanded a head cloth obligation for teachers in an elementary school in Linz. The indignation about it is large: Upper-Austrian national school advice president Fritz Enzenhofer spoke of insanity and reported that one had directly acted. FPOe Secretary-General Herbert Kickl demanded in response a head cloth prohibition in schools. BZOe speaker Uwe Scheuch called the demands of the Muslims inakzeptabel.
The VS 12 - designated after the social-democratic Schulreformer petrol Gloeckl - is considered as integration elementary school. Three quarters of the 178 children do not have German as native language. A teacher sent a letter to the personalvertretung, in which she weighted about three fanatische Muslim fathers - two Bosnier and a Tschetschene in the name of her colleagues. They would have required that the directress and all teachers wore head cloths. The children might not be admonished further by their teachers publicly. They refused besides the teachers the Sie address, because they did not earn this as women. In addition their pupils of children should not participate in singing appearances, that are prostitution. And no teacher has to ask, why the daughter does not go swimming, has a father required. The teachers should are glad to have so many Islamic children otherwise the school would have to zusperren.
Banning all religious headdress would have a far greater effect than most realize.
I think I will move to Paris and demand that France change its official language to Brooklynese!!
I spent some time in Austria a few years ago. Loved it. Beautiful country. But many there saw this coming. An Austrian friend told me "We kept the Muslims out for a thousand years, now we let them in one at a time".
Welcome to the multicultural world Austria!
Austrians do not like this sort of thing, and they are really crazy people. I have a feeling those Muslims are going to regret that...
Hey its no big deal. Just have the teachers wear the head covers. Everyone knows that how peacefull Islam is, I dought any one will geet their head chopped off or blown up by a homicide bomber. {I am right about that aint I?}
There's no in-between ground on this. Either we submit to Islamic cultural demands or they conform to our culture. The rule "When in Rome do as the Romans" seems the best course short of banning Islam altogether.
European Liberals congratulated themselves on open immigration of Muslims. Now they can live through the destruction of their countries.
Sadly, that's what it's coming to, isn't it?
Kiss "Old Europe" goodbye.
"congratulated themselves on open immigration of Muslims"
Coming soon to a county near you.
It should be noted these are "European" (non-Arab) Muslims: Bosnians and Chechens.
Muslim insanity has no ethnic boundaries.
In a word, No.
I started reading, thinking it had to be Scappleface. Then hoping it was Scrappleface. Then praying it was Scrappleface. Too bad..............
Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn, but he often called Linz his "home town", because he was raised nearby and later lived there for a few years.
I'm not so sure about that. I don't think that large of a proportion of Muslims have multiple wives; I think that's more common among the wealthy.
But the problem in the West isn't with traditional marriage; it's with Westerners intentionally disconnecting sex from procreation, and voluntarily extincting ourselves through contraception and abortion.
Know how croissants got their name? The turks were invading Vienna, then a walled city, and the turks were digging tunnels under the city. Of course, they did this very early in the morning hours. And what profession is up in the morning: bakers.
Thus the bakers made the croissant "crescent" in memory of their luck and the defeat of the Turks.
