(2) Variety is the sole characteristic of the American civilization. Conservative Americans fight tyranny and the uniformity that it creates. Liberalism, in its warped philosophy, wishes to make all Americans the same. Conservative Americans know that America can only be great if individuals are allowed to prosper in their unique differences. I think this is one that liberals just don't understand. They pretend that they value differences. That is what multi-culturalism is about. But they don't really. They value only superficial differences, while insisting that thought conform to the politically correct.

I've got to go with smoothsailing on this one. A SITREP was basically a report of current activity, but it can definitely apply to Litkeeper's version as well. As for smoothsailing's SITREP, I'd say it's just fine.

Thanks writer33, I'm in the process of learning animation and had to interject it into a 'Rush' thread.
I read on your profile page that you are in Carson City, NV. My husband's aunt used to own the Longbranch Saloon there many years ago!

Pay no attention to writer33,knuthom.He's a notorious flatterer.:)
To: Kryptonite
Thank you for the kind compliment, K. I appreciate it more than you could know.
You're right...I meant to say, uncommon, and just maybe it's because I understand Rush's unique perspective more than I'd like. So for the record: That isn't all that uncommon in today's America.
I for one am glad Rush had the capital to withstand the onslaught. Had he not, we might have had to listen to three hours of Roger Hedgecock.
