Thank you G-d that the battleship Oklahoma went to the bottom during a
tow from Pearl Harbor.
It was bad enough she'd have ended up as scrap...but as a memorial to
Brokeback luvin' is too much to contemplate.

I agree. The Oklahoma deserved a better fate than a scrapper's yard. Too bad they didn't leave her at Pearl Harbor with the Arizona and the Utah.

She didn't end up as scrap. She was raised and sank under tow on her way back to the states in 1947.
