DOSE PING!!!!!!!!!! Let's be on our DOSE best behavior tonight and have a great time together celebrating these momentous historic times we are privileged to be a part of. Please wait until the ALL CLEAR to post or repost photos!
Yay! Party time!
God Bless The President of the United States of America, George W Bush.
Good evening
Will Reid, Pelosi, and the Duke of Chappaquiddick, the Senate's only Olympic class swimmer, sit on their hands tonight? Consistency between words and actions would seem to so dictate. No man as evil as they have proclaimed President Bush to be should merit their applause.
Happy, HAPPY DAY! Let the pictures and celebrating begin....thanks, OWF!
Checking in for the big noght! Thanks Ohio!
What a great day for a great President and a new Justice!!
Howdy, All...
Hello, everyone! I missed out on the live thread for Justice Alito earlier today (son was having braces put on his teeth) but I'm sure looking forward to our President's address tonight!
These GREAT photos heighten the anticipation even more, oWf!
OTOH, I'm not sorry to see Greenspan gone. I wish he'd left before he raised interest rates another quarter percent. He's throwing us into a recession. I thought his last day was going to be Dec. 31st. At least, that's what the stock market prognosticators thought. I'm sorry they were wrong.
And now, back to the President's great speech.
Four months and two days into his presidency, President Bush said these words:
It's been a joyous time for us in the White House, and a high honor. And it's been a busy time, and that's just the way I like it. I often said during the campaign that Dick Cheney and I were not going to Washington just to mark time. We came to make good on our commitments for the great people of America. We came to get something done. We weren't afraid to state our case, nor were we afraid to work with anybody who heard our cause. We came not to have Washington change us, but for us to change Washington.
Thank you, Mr President, for also changing the world! God bless you as you continue to lead this nation with courage and conviction.
NUTS!
I missed the party but not the SOTU speech!
AWESOME!!!!
