ABC News claims that the network will take care of the medical bills. They wouldn't say, though, whether they'll pay Woodruff's and Vogt's medical expenses directly, or if they'll let the insurance cover it.

Michael Moore? He could sell some of his Hallburton stock.

Is that guy friends with McGreevey?
To: BlueJ7
That's great, because I really care about this part of the story.
I'm sorry these two got hurt and hope they have speedy recoveries, so this is not directed at them but at those covering the story.
The MSM think we all care so damned much about THEM. Meanwhile, thousands of our people die over there with only one sad story aimed more at hurting the President than in honoring the fallen.

Not to mention the stories that demonize our troops. Bet you won't see any stories that suggest that Woodruff asked for it.

I'm waiting for John Kerry to wonder why Woodruff was banging down doors and terroriszing children when Al Jazeera should be doing it, or Durbin to ask for an investigation into whether Woodruff was attacked by US forces under the direction of "special intersts like Haliburton".

If Woody's bills are paid they will be paid by ABC. No insurance carrier pays for injuries or death in a war zone

So what's the issue? Why shouldn't ABC pay for their care?
And why is anyone else's business?
I hope they both make a speedy, full recovery.

I thought of this also. The bill are probably about $10000 to $40000 what with all the air fare and all. One question is did the military invite these guys to ride along? If so than the military is responsible. If not than ABC is responsible.

I am more interested in knowing these answers than in the story itself. I pray, however, that those involved will learn some truth about having been in the field and the cost of same.

No, the traitor Kerry will blubber that Woodruff was injured due to the "hostile environment" that the Bush Administration has created in Iraq.
Kerry and his fellow 'Rats would be perfectly happy to see Saddam back in power and the Iraqi people being randomly fed into shredding machines at Uday's whim.
It's a shame that Woodruff and Vogt were injured, but they're no more important than any one of our brave military servicemen and women who are putting their lives on the line to help the Iraqi people keep their new freedoms, and defeat the Islamofascist terrorists who would impose their tyranny once again on Iraq as they once did in Afghanistan.

Stick your head out of a hatch in the lead vehicle of a convoy on a known 'hot' road. Dumb, but good for ratings.

You may not care, but I do care about our military people.Uh, yeah, that was my whole point. That's why I was grumbling about all these stories about Woodruff while our people only get stories now and then. You didn't get that?

"The bill are probably about $10000 to $40000 ..."That doesn't buy a whole lot of medical care. It might be cheaper overseas.
