Peace Mom" Cindy Sheehan's was arrested at Tuesday night's State of the Union address after she refused to yield to warnings from Capitol Hill police to cover up an anti-war T-shirt she was wearing underneath her coat.
Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider told the Associated Press that Sheehan kept the anti-war slogan covered until she took her seat. When they noticed her politically charged attire, police warned Sheehan that such displays were not allowed.
The celebrated anti-war protester ignored the warnings, police said.
Police handcuffed Sheehan and escorted her from the gallery about 15 minutes before the president arrived.

I'm shocked. She wore an anti-war t-shirt. Gee. Now, when we tune in to the MSM to hear reaction to the speech, we're going to have to put up with volumes of drivel on how her right to free speech was violated.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:
She's getting arrested on purpose for media attention. It's stupid, pathetic, and desperate. She wants to look like a righteous martyr who was arrested for "daring to stand up for what she believed in." It's all a phony, cliched image.

The misdemeanor charge carries a sentence of up to one year in jail I bet the old bag of hot air would enjoy herself in jail, if there were only a judge in D.C. who would sentence the b*tch.

To: Sollozzo
Sorry to say it, but she got a lot of media play tonight, although she has been arrested numerous times over the course of her protesting.

In our County here in Oklahoma we picked up 411 new Republicans in Nov/Dec over the DemocRATs. People were actually telling the election board that they refuse to be associated any longer with the Party of Dean, Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton and Sheehan.

Cindy is the new and improved Michael Moore.
He never challanged a Democrat's election. Cindy may challenge DiFi.
Pray that she does. If so, they might split the Dem vote and a Rep sneaks through. The McClintock supporters still upset about Arnold may want to promote him for the race should she run 3rd party.

She's getting arrested on purpose for media attention. Agreed. Cindy's leading a charmed life, for the moment, whisked from place to place (who pays for this?) and constantly the focus of adoring lefties. But she is in great need of grief counseling and real help, her actions and comments confirm this.
"daring to stand up for what she believed in."
Oh, giant barf. She is so blinded, she fails to grasp time and time again, that she would never be able to protest publicly even once if she didn't have the freedoms her son fought and died for. I had to miss a small part of the address and I'm glad I missed that part. The left is holding her up like some great saint or martyr, and she is greedily sucking up the attention. But she needs help. And they'll just drop her like a hot potato when she no longer serves their needs, and who will listen to her then or help her?
To: bybybill
We are making her famous, time to just ignore her.Excellent idea.
From now on I will not read about or post a comment about Cindy Sheehan.

A woman can get away with what she has and still walk away? Yes, even at that, I am glad she can walk away. This is a massive demonstration of the rights of an individual. That this gad-fly is tolerated again and again. That her physical safety is virtually guaranteed. That in even so-called democracies she would have been locked up or intimidated.
What a marvellous country is America. Sadly, Cindy does not seem to know it.
I hold it this of George W. Bush.
His moral resolution stamps him as one of the greatest leaders to emerge in the last 100 years.
