If you are an active or reserve GI you have the right to put a
short note in your Equivalent ORB or SRB (Officer Record Book or Servicemen's Record Book alongside your RED (Record of Emergency Data) (The RED or Equivalent designates who should be contacted and the recipient of your SGLI (Serviceman's Group Life Insurance).
