Did Castro Kill Kennedy?
Media Monitor ^ | 2/2/2006 | Roger Aronoff

Compelling new evidence of a Cuban Communist role in the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy has come to light, but has received little attention in the U.S. media.

It comes at a time when there has been renewed interest in the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II and the alleged Soviet role behind that.

SNIP

In the Kennedy matter, the big news comes from a German TV documentary that claims that the Cuban government was behind the assassination of former president John F. Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald. The film is called "Rendezvous With Death," by award winning director Wilfried Huissman. It took five years to make, and reports suggest that it makes a compelling case.

Among those talking on camera is Oscar Marino, a former Cuban intelligence agent. He says that the Cubans wanted Kennedy dead because he had opposed the Cuban revolution, and had tried to have Castro assassinated. Marino told Huissman that he knew for certain that the Cuban secret service G2 had carried out and financed the operation, though he wouldn't say if Castro had directly ordered it. But under Castro's brutal dictatorship, which has endured for nearly half a century, it is not conceivable that this would have happened without his blessing. As Marino described it, Oswald "was so full of hate, he had the idea. We used him."

According to Marino, the Cubans contacted Oswald after being tipped off by their patrons, the Soviet KGB. Oswald had lived there for three years after deserting from the U.S. military. There he married the niece of a KGB colonel. He was allowed to return to the U.S. and bring his wife with him. He continued to call himself a Communist, and demonstrated on behalf of Cuba.

Sorry everyone - Oswald shot him by himself. He took some crazy shots at some judge just a couple of weeks before. I doubt Castro/LBJ/Mafia told Oswald "you go and shoot at some obscure judge for practice and then we will let you handle the Kennedy thing." It has been proven that the magic bullet was a pretty straight shot.

Ruby took his motives to his grave.

Have you seen this? My uncle is the FBI agent mentioned in Bob Vernon's testimony. He has since retired.

A lot of people wanted the Kennedys out of power..or paid back for their betrayals...

The Chicago mob for handing him Chicago and Illinois electoral votes and betraying them

The Syndicate™ (™Lansky,Seigel,Lucciano,Onansis,Kennedy etc) for not getting rid of Castro after Castro looted their banks, casinos, whore houses, and real estate..

The free Cubans betrayed at the BOP and the intel agency that was also betrayed

The Soviets..Castro

Lyndon Johnson and the military industrial complex

How was it that Oswald got to travel and stay in the Soviet Union...marry a major party officials niece, and then bring her back to the USA without a hitch...at a time when most Americans could not even get into the Soviet Union let alone renounce their citizenship and then be let back in with a Russian wife as if nothing had ever happened.

Then the joke of the Warren Commission and Specters "magic bullet" we were shown on TV

Then there was Jack Ruby...Chicago Mob contract man who operated mob business in Dallas...a good friend to many DPD officials and street cops...so much so he walked right in to the Dallas PD underground parking lot waved right on through by the security put out to protect Oswald from just such an assassination attempt.

The world is an ugly place and politics is an ugly business always has been always will be...

As Jerry Fletcher said "A good conspiracy is basically an unprovable one"

Yes, I saw it before at Bob Vernons house in Houston. I just went and looked at an official copy of the Zapruder film and at normal speed it does look like the driver turns and fires a pistol shot at JFK's head. However, at slow motion, it does not. Take a look at the Zapruder clip on your entry in this thread and tell me what you think. The drivers head is facing JFK at the moment the bullet strikes him and it " appears " as if he has a .45 Auto in his left hand. I'd be interested in your reaction.

Jackie did it. She had enough of his philandering. More power to her!

Aristotle Onassis did it so he could have Jackie. That makes about as much sense as some of the bizzarre theories I've heard. If I had to pick - Castro is the most likely suspect.

I wonder if the evidence will, in fact, be released in the next few years. Wasn't the evidence sealed for 50 years?

Jackie Kennedy supposedly audio taped what she knew, and donated to a university with the stipulation that it not be released for 50 or 100 years after her death.

I doubt we'll ever hear it. The audio tape may not even last that long.

Talk about "bottom-feeding lawyer" behavior! Spector's tactics -- if nothing else -- force me to dismiss the Warren Commission as a blatant cover-up. (...of exactly what, I still don't know...)

Bump!

"He took some crazy shots at some judge just a couple of weeks before."

He wasn't a judge, he was a retired MG who Kennedy had fired in 61, and it was not a couple of weeks, it was in April of 63.

Even that incident could have been a distraction because MG Edwin A. Walker probably wanted Kennedy dead as much as anyone else did. BTW, Walker was up for a third star when he was relieved of command of the 24th Infantry Division out of Augsburg, Germany.

I believe Walker took some things he knew about the assassination to his grave.
