Texas Sheriff says Mexican army has threatened his deputies and their families

In the past few days, Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department deputies and their families have received threats to stay off the Rio Grande. Sheriff Arvin West told ABC-7 Thursday morning, before departing for Houston that the Mexican military is behind all of this.

Sheriff West said, "There is no doubt in my mind -- from the first time going back to a couple of years ago and every time in between --- it's the Mexican military. In a nutshell, everybody's been trying to tell everybody that they were here...they've been here ...[and] they come here quite often, regularly."

In that case whatever we annexed would become a prosperous area. If they, however, were to take over part of their so called Aztlan, it would no doubt eventually become a dump like most of Mexico today.

Unlike many here I do not have a hatred towards the Mexican people. The Mexican government is another story however. I can not blame a man for wanting to better himself and care for his family. All of my Mexican friends are hard working people.

You think this nation is better off with Mexican nationals living here than U.S. citizens.  Nothing racist about that...

You think many trillions of dollars in infrastructure should be sceded back to Mexico since we unfairly occupied the territory after the Mexican American war, which we won, and after paying cash for it as well.  That make sense, to someone I'm sure...
In the interim you think we should pour billions of dollars into a support fund for foreign nationals.  Can't argue with that...
You think our American public school children should sit in class reading for the first three years of their eduction so the children who don't know English can catch up.
You think we should put up with crime statistics that are upwards of 400% higher for illegal immigrants than they are for U.S. citizens.

They have already taken over small communities here in California......and still noone does anything. We have towns here that noone will go to after dark. You could be shot driving down the street, about 5 different latino gangs are there. This is not just a border issue.
