Not to rain on your parade, but here in Texas, I-35 is one of the worst roads I've ever driven, and that's only the start. On the other hand, California's road planning & design has been a model to copy for decades, developing any number of safety & accident prevention devices. On that same note, Indiana drivers are scary & confusing, while drivers in Chicago, IL navigate the Dan Ryan without incident at speeds 20-30+ mph faster than anyone in another state would ever dare try.
And then there is Florida...PACKED WITH OLD PEOPLE.
You haven't driven until you've attempted the drive from Naval Station Norfolk to the beach between the hours of 1400 - 1800. Fricken insane these people.
Ohio's roads suck pretty badly, too.
