British Muslims burn a Danish flag during a demonstration outside the Danish embassy over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, in London February 3, 2006. The cartoons, which first appeared in a Danish newspaper, have sparked outrage across the Islamic world, although Britain's normally provocative newspapers have so far refused to publish them. Take a look at the true face of the so-called "moderate" Muslims.
To: longtermmemmory
The problem is that all islam worshipers see the 9/11 attack as a victory for them. I have yet to meet one who does not follow the "you had it comming" view. Lest we forget, the only reason we are all here venting is that the animals are protesting and having blood rallies over freakin' Cartoons!
The fact that this revives our revulsion and monumental anger at memories of 911 is simply coincidental.
They are their own worst enemy. Fortunately.

I guess it is not that unreasonable to have all the signs made by one person, especially if you are just rousing the rabble.
Another thing I noticed is that the maximum number of people protesting (at least shown) is fourteen or fifteen. This is not a full-up grassroots demonstration, this is a staged press event photographed and cropped to look like a streetfull of screaming Muslims. The hand-out signs would be a part of that.
It is effective propaganda, though- the signs, angry faces, aggressive poses all combine to make an impact.

You're right, it does look staged. Pretty childish, but effective.

Killer animals who threaten to kill others for trivial reasons and conceal their faces should be shot on sight. Harsh-but-true BUMP!

"From NJ's profile:"
In other words, "I can't argue against his points, so I'll take character assassination for 800, Alex."
"Oh, and NJ, let me help you clean up the quote at the bottom of your profile's narcissistic blather so you won't look quite so silly:"
You cross out one proper name and replace it with another when both work perfectly well. That's not a "clean up". As for me looking "so silly", I've yet to see anyone even begin to argue successfully against that post, but have seen plenty of folks enjoy reading it very much.
As a side note, I find it unsettling that so many Freepers as of late have taken to the DU tactic of attacking the messenger instead of arguing the message. These petty insults and character attacks do nothing to advance a point, and do nothing to further discussion. This is a discussion forum, not a childrens' playground.

9/11 is used all the time in Europe.
It is almost a trademark... if you know what I mean....

I think Europe is in for a rough ride....
It has only just begun in Europe....not long before it starts here too.
That is why I believe Iraq is so important. If a free and tolerant nation can be born, proving cultural change is possible, we may well avoid an all out world war.
If Iraq fails to prove that is possible....well we best prepare ourselves for a war that will make Iraq look like a cake walk....
I believe cultural change will come....the only questions that remain are how many will die, and where they will die, before it does....

Notice the media's failure to cover this, and the failure of American punditry to condem it. Ridiculous KKK rallies by a handful of racist pinheads get far more coverage and condemnation.
Then, as you referenced, the U.S. Department of State today joined those who promote "beheading", "annihilation", and "slaughter" in condemning free press expressions of outrage against terrorists.
I am disgusted. How in the world do we expect to win a war like this?

Well, I can only speak for Norway, but yeah....
People are very angry. The muslims are shooting themselves in the foot bigtime on this one. Even the rhetoric of the "moderates" betray them. People who used to be pro-palestinian in the mid east conflict are starting to support Israel. It has been a big wake up call for many people.
We will see. There is a protest by Norwegian muslims scheduled in Oslo tomorrow. I wonder if they will be carrying equally compelling signs..

The protest consisted of something like 400-500 people according to Sky News.
Judging from the TV photage I saw, I would guess something like 200-300.
The protesters claimed a thousand...

Aw jeeze, "islam" is all mad.....again!!! If a butterfly sneezes, they get mad. If people don't bow at the name of "mohammed" (may he be blotted out), they get mad. They are conceived in rage, born in rage, live in rage, and die in rage. With all that rage they have about everything, they must have blood pressure readings off the scale. A major feeding of valium for them would be an act of mercy. Always with the outrage, the protests, the hysterics everytime someone breaks wind the wrong way. Nag, nag, nag - like spoiled brat kids. May eternal flatulence be upon them and may they received 72 virgins from Satan that look like Helen Thomas!

"The fact that we have over a billion Muslims in the world and that the entire world isn't engulfed in flames leads me to believe that a great many Muslims just want to live out their lives and make things a little better for their kids."

Again, don't blame these mad dogs, they are what they are. Blame the traitors who invited them to colonize Britain and protect that colonization. What you're seeing here isn't Militant Islam but but militant leftism, the fruits of the so-called post WW2/60s "anti-racism" campaign which in practice is objectively genocidal, indeed has long been purposefully genocidal, towards the people of the West.
Don't kid yourselves about the outcome of this little imbroglio, sharia law has arrived in Europe. European newspapers will have their little moment of face-saving but will never again dare to stiffen their spines in opposition to their dispossession and destruction. You can bet that newspaper editors in Britain are already refusing to run these cartoons out of fear of physical violence, they've already been intimidated by these Brownshirts who are there because of the leftist establishment and are acting with the connivance of that establishment. It will be interesting to see if the British government acts on these public threats, particularly in light of the recent persecution of the leader of the BNP.
