I thought it was just me.

These folks are truly doing the Lord's work.

Awesome article. I'm not ashamed to admit my screen got blurry while reading it.

Mega-Dittoes there. They are truly doing the Lord's work. I know myself, I wish I could do some of these things but I have to get my economic life in order first so right now the only thing I have to offer is my prayers, recognition, my post in keeping this topic active and so on.

I guess this topic hit home since I've read books like "Susan Lenox, Her Rise and Fall" by David Graham Phillips and "Maggie, Girl of the Streets" by Stephan Crane. Although those are written 100 years ago, even though technology has changed among other things, the ability of humans to be truly evil, scared and have no place to go (as the case may be) has not. Those books are a good serving of humble pie as well. One scene in "Susan Lenox" was one where a religious person told her, "the wages of sin is death!" That is no way to try to convert someone into a better life and I felt that was a good opportunity to do so. You cannot beat someone over the head like that, instead show them how God loves everyone and offer help and hopefully you can turn lives around this way. It is a shame that people are discarded like that in such a manner.

I wish these people all thje luck and prayers as well as praying for their safety. Thanx for the ping.
