That really infuriated me, Peach. I wouldn't have minded so much if they "deplored the content" but stood for the PRINCIPLE of free speech.

SE Mom, when we think of the garbage cartoons we read in this country which demeans religion, it took some gall for a State Dept. official to say what they did. It's worse than PC run amok; it's complete and total capitulation.

Infuriated over here too... spitting nails, really. Christians and Jews have been abused mercilessly without fear of recrimination FOREVER. And now this insistence on 'respect' for the ROP. Who is doing what about these inequities and where can I go to help?
