I live in the area, and the fighters scared the *#$& out of me last night. Not your usual sound from the night sky around here.
Hmm wonder what time it was. I heard some afterburner type jet noise about 7 PM, maybe a little earlier? Wasn't really paying attention to the time. I was FReeping. But I was really close to the airfield. :)
My favorite is when the FA-18's buzz the football games at Qualcom stadium - just a few miles from where I live. What really makes me mad is they make a horrible noise - but by the time you dash outdoors to see them fly over - they are nowhere in sight! LOL!!
