Iran's best option would be to "open source" its nuclear program and put all details of its nuclear technology and operations up on the Intenet.

Iran is begging to be attacked so the WMD in Syria may be unleashed. My bet is any preemption will take place in Syria.

Do it before it's too late.

Talk won't save us.

Bunker-busting bombs will.

Iran has been coming up a lot lately. Like I said to my employer two days ago: Iran will have to be dealt with very soon. Since Iran is in the news so much, lately, tells me that we are being prepared for something. I wonder who will take the leadership.

There is no doubt in my mind who will take the leadership. However, as usual, they will be chastised for it. Thank God, we still have leaders in this world, because these rag heads are getting out of hand.

The W.S.Journal has a excellent editorial (opinionjournal.com 2/3) on what the world would be like with a nuclear Iran. I don't think most people realize that the president of Iran is the cultural and mental equivalent of UBL. As Benjamen Natanyahou pointed out, during the Cold War the Soviets (despite their irrational ideology) generally behaved rationally when confronted by MAD. But in Iran's case the leadership is irrational and apocalyptic. Just consider what scenario he presented in a hypothetical (and insane) attack on Israel: yes, Iran might lose a few hundred thousand but Israel would be totally obliterated. One must understand that we are dealing with fanatical mullahs who - far from fearing - would welcome death in a jihad that brings martyrdom and immortality. Can we imagine binLaden with his finger on the button? This is NOT hyperbole. It's the most serious danger facing the civilized world.

It seems that all the players have their Daytimers out and are lining up for March. It's a very strange sight to see all these deeply avowed enemies all nodding their heads and saying "Yep, March looks good for me too."

What are they?

1. Iran reportedly schedules Nuclear Test for March
1a) US and Israel state that they will in no way allow Iran to become a nuclear power
1b) US begins pointing a long overdue finger at Syria as home of Iraqi WMD's.
2. Iran plans bigger Nuclear detonation in global currency markets in the form of the grand opening of the Iranian oil bourse on March 23.

I believe that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is actively goading the US and Israel to take some kind of action, possibly because of his belief in bringing out the 12th Imam by inciting a global jihad. Surprise! Appeasement will not work - and everybody in Ahmadinejad's government and clear-thinking westerners are glad that it won't, strangely enough.

Although no confirmation (nor denial) of a nuclear test is forthcoming from Tehran, the inflammatory rhetoric about wiping out Israel could hardly be designed to allay world fears about the possibility of a nuclear armed Iran.

The US and Israel have both categorically stated that they will not countenance a nuclear Iran, and speculations about "Taking them out" strategies are widely and openly discussed in both countries - March being the timeframe.

All of a sudden, drain bamage recedes in the US intelligence community - as they belatedly notice all those Iraqi trucks photographed heading across the Syrian border right before the war. The Iraqi General's admission of WMD transfer to Syria this last month is the first breach of the dam. As many of us had been screaming about this at our TV screams when Bush put on a hangdog look and "admitted" intelligence mistakes, at this point we are no longer duped. The WMD's were there, they were (duh) moved to Syria - and we are little bit tired of manipulation to fall for the US suddenly "figgering it out" story. We're going into Syria too - and this will be the justification used to do it at this time, now that it fits other timelines. I, for one, am a little tired of these hamhanded misdirection plays, where we're expected to not notice the bleedin' obvious until we're supposed to.

But if Iran is bloody well set on kicking things off - well then, let us rise to the occasion and wipe out both terrorist states with one stone.

It's pretty amazing that the Mullahs have managed to endanger world peace to this extent WITHOUT THE HELP of the peanut farmer!
