I consider myself a spiritual person, but sometimes I hear and read what many "Religous" people have to say on a variety of matters, and I begin to understand why so many view Religion with such hostility.

Another poster seemed to imply that President Bush is ruling this country based strictly on his interpretation of the Bible. If this is true, God help us all.

He was very quick to put out OT quotes, but had none in response to #49 and #51.

I could almost hear him muttering "you racist" while posting.

When you argue for something amoral illogical and illegal there is very little to stand on.

First of all , President Bush is not "ruling" the country; there IS a congress and a judicial branch. This is silly; there is nothing wrong with communing with God through prayer before making an important decision. That does not imply he is infallible; no human is, and he is awre of that, too.
