I'm not a football fan. I had no dog in the Super Bowl fight. But that had to be one of the worst games I've ever watched. Between Seattle working so hard at failing, and Pittsburgh capitalizing on laughably bad calls, it was less a football game than a pas de deux with cleats.

Apparently pro football is trying to rise to the level of pro baseball in irrelevance.

I have to agree with you. I had no dog in this fight either, but the officiating was atrocious. The interferance on the Seattle touchdown that was erased was pure bs. That being said, Seattle didn't help themselves with drive killing holding penalties.

Oh well, it is just a game. Congrats to Steelers for their victory. On to next year, the draft, the new season.

Just remember Steelers fans, you got a big target on your team now. ;->

Like Iron Jack, I'm not a big football fan, and I don't care one way or the other for either team, but it was plain to me that the Seahawks got robbed. It was especially obvious when the Pittsburgh runner was stopped just inches short of the goal, and then pulled the ball from underneath himself and placed it across the line with a guilty look on his face all the while.

Soon, if this continues, we can expect football to go the way of the Heavyweight Division in boxing. Maybe even Don King will we find a new home in the NFL.
