I quit watching pro basketball for the same reasons about 15 years ago. I'm getting that same disgust with pro football. And to boot, this years commercials were, well, just commercials.

Yeah! What's up with that? They must have had a tough time selling all the add slots. Its seems like about 1/3 of them were just for their own shows.

Also, the halftime show sucked. Don't the Stones have enough money already? Why don't they just hang it up.

I woulde have thought maybe the halftime show would feature the Motown sound (at least Michael McDonald if the wanted to "whiten" it up for the masses).

The Superbowl was the only football game I've watched this season. I quit football years ago and baseball and basketball.

It is artificially hyped, the commentators are 'fluffers', the players have no team loyalty, the teams have no player loyalty and the owners have no city/fan loyalty.

It is all about getting $ from the fan$.

The Stupid Bowl is no longer a game. The officiating is the show.
