mmm, I like that you bring that distinction to light. As Muscatello writes in his article as well, there is also something to be said for the differences in the reactions to perceived affronts. Radical Muslims will bomb and kill while Christians have reacted (most recently to the abomination that was the Kanye West Rolling Stone cover & article) in much different and peaceful fashion.

Muslims believe they must defend the honor of their god.
Christians believe that a real God needs no defending, redeeming, or protecting. "Vengeance is mine", says the Lord.
