At last? AT LAST?! I agree with nearly everything the author writes, but at last? Where has Ms. Stock been? True Islam has been showing its terrorist face at least since the early 1970's.

True Islam certainly showed its face on September 11, 2001, and has been doing so almost continually ever since.

I doubt the cartoon riots will mark a change in Europe's and our domestic Left's attitude toward radical Islam.

Now the European Left gets to see what Israel has been dealing with all these years and maybe they will understand why Israel kicks Muzzie terrorist arse. Well said! The Scandanavians are waking up to the fact that decades of liberal policies, support of the Palestianians, and generousity matters not one wit to the Arab street. The same holds true for all the US Aid given to Pakistan. Or the hordes of Muslim clerics given refuge in the West. When Islam is concerned, years of goodwill mean nothing when stacked against the slightest slight. You cannot bargain with a wolf.

Personally, I don't care if the West's major politicians (that would be George W. Bush and Tony Blair) keep up the charade (and that's all it's ever been, even for them, I believe) of the "hi-jacked" religion of peace. We all understand the need for diplomatic language at that level.

But the rest of the world is out of that game now. It's clear that Islamofascism is lunacy, that it's always death to fill-in-the-blank, massacre-of-fill-in-the-blank, blah blah blah death death death.
