I feel bad for this man. Parents MUST discuss pregnancy with their daughters and re-assure them that they will support them NO MATTER WHAT. Now, this woman was an adult, not a child, and there may have been other problems, but I've known adult women whose own mothers advised them to get abortions. You know what, no matter how hard things would have been, those children would be adults by now, and in all likelihood would have brought their mothers, AND GRANDMOTHERS much joy.
Abotion is killing, it is evil, it is to be warned against in advance. Being pregnant, unplanned, is enough to make any woman panic. They need to be re-assured BEFORE they are "in trouble" as the old saying has it.
My only grandchild, beautiful little Teegan, age 2-1/2, was almost aborted. The joy she brings our entire family is immeasurable, and I cannot imagine our lives without her in it.
