Good stuff and the right approach. Is the Australian government now conservative? Australia has had a conservative government for over nine years at this point - a coalition between the Liberal Party (which is a conservative party, despite its name) and the National Party, headed by Prime Minister John Howard.

How conservative a government is it? Has not Australia gone down the British road of gun confiscation, disarming its own citizens?
