Later Than We Think
The Washington Times ^ | February 6, 2006 | Arnaud de Borchgrave

The man in charge of hoodwinking the Western powers about Iran's now 18-year-old secret nuclear program believes the apocalypse will happen in his own lifetime. He'll be 50 in October. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Shi'ite creed has convinced him lesser mortals can not only influence but hasten the awaited return of the 12th Imam, known as the Mahdi. Iran's dominant "Twelver" sect holds this will be Muhammad ibn Hasan, the righteous descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. He is said to have gone into "occlusion" in the 9th century, at age 5. His return will be preceded by cosmic chaos, war, bloodshed and pestilence. After this cataclysmic confrontation between the forces of good and evil, the Mahdi will lead the world to an era of universal peace. "The ultimate promise of all Divine religions," says Ahmadinejad, "will be fulfilled with the emergence of a perfect human being [the 12th Imam], who is heir to all prophets. He will lead the world to justice and absolute peace. Oh mighty Lord, I pray to you to hasten the emergence of your last repository, the promised one." He reckons the return of the Imam, AWOL for 11 centuries, is only two years away.

Circumstances of Imam's (A.S.) Birth

Hakima, the aunt of Imam (A.S.) says, "I had gone to the house of my nephew, on Thursday in the mid of shabaan's month. When I wanted to say good-bye and ask for permission to leave. Imam (A.S.) said, "Oh aunty do stay tonight with us because our son will come to the world." I was much overjoyed and happy and went to Narjis (mother of Imam-e-Zaman) but I did not find any clue and sign of pregnancy in her. Astonished and surprised as I was, I said to myself, I do not see any sign of child's birth. At this moment Imam (A.S.) came to me and said, "Oh aunty don't be sad Narjis is like the mother of Musa (A.S.) and the baby is like Musa (A.S.), who was born secretly and without any signs and symbols. Go to Narjis she will (bear) bring her child to the world at morning (Azzan time [dawn time]). I became glad and stayed with Narjis and the way Imam (A.S.) had said the signs of pregnancy appeared before sunrise. A sphere of light came into existence in between her and myself so that I could not see Narjis any longer. I got scared and came out of the room and contacted Imam (A.S.) and told him about the matter. He smiled and said, "Turn back, after a few moments so you will see him."

The whole senior clerical gang has a death wish. It is about time we recognized it for what it is.

There is nothing as dangerous as someone with a death wish and a nuke.

We're going to find out,

Sooner or later,

If Abdul will pray,

To a smoking crater.

I think there is a fair chance that Mecca will get nuked but it won't be the American's who do it. An Iranian nuke or two could easily push the Israelis into Masada-mode with their nuclear arsenal. They'll be the ones doing the nuking. I'm betting they could kill a couple hundred million people (50 million in Egypt, alone, if they hit the Aswan dam) and push the Middle East back past the 7th Century and into the Stone Age before they run out of warheads if they are so inclined.

I never understand this whole "lets bomb meccca thing". Regardless frightning about this guy. The problem is I am beginning to think there is no way to stop it. The problem is after reading enough of these articles one gets a sense we dont know where to hit in Iran to destroy the program

Oh we know, fairly well, but the problem is that the stuff is buried pretty deep in some cases, and shielded by mountains in others. We don't yet have any bunker buster nukes, and our conventional ones aren't up to the task. There is some potential for thermobaric bombs to kill most of the people working at the sites, and damage or destroy the "softer" items of equipment. But most of it is unlikely to be that soft.

You are correct. The Arab population of the Middle East is highly concentrated in a few fertile river valleys. Israel has enough nukes to obliterate Arab "civilization".

We can't play by two sets of rules. Their "rule" is the most offensive cartoons imaginable can be printed in Arab newspapers. "Our" rule is that we're not allowed to draw a cartoon of Mohammed. Their rule is that they will try to kill as many of us as possible - including women and children and to kill us in the most offensive way possible. "Our" rule is that we must only hit military targets and do whatever is humanly possible to avoid killing the innocent. It's why Arabs will surround a target with children. They know we don't want to kill the innocent. On the other hand, they will stock weapons in hospitals and schools. They don't even care about their own children.

That said, the "let's bomb Mecca" thing has to do with the fact that these control freak, chip on the shoulder jerks get the power for their blood lust from Mecca. This is the site in the world that celebrates the "God as nutcase control freak with bloodlust". Really. Think of the God of Abraham as the God of Control Freaks, the God of Job as a betting God, the God of Jesus as the God of Charity (Love). It's not that God changes, it's that man's understanding of God changes. The two year old sees his parents one way - the 15 year old sees them a different way. The perception of the children are not the definition of the parents. Both perceptions can be truthful - and both can be wrong. God as control freak is the perception of the two year old... And that's what Muslim's celebrate. Whoa, sorry, I've gone off on a tangent here... Anyhow, these guys fear something happening to Mecca - while they don't fear much else.

Destroying Islam's holiest site might be the ultimate repudiation of that false religion and its impotent moon god. Imagine the infidels spitting in Allah's face (piss be upon him). The muzzies would be incensed and rush prematurely into battle with a superior west. It is all the pretext we need to wipe them out.
