" The audio recordings are part of new evidence the House Intelligence Committee is piecing together that has spurred Mr Koekstra to reopen the question of whether Iraq had the BIOLOGICAL, CHEMICAL and NUCLEAR weapons American weapons inspectors could not turn up." They were provided to his committee by a former Federal prosecutor, John Loftus, who says he received them from a former American military intelligence analyst.

Perhaps Iraq was not the end game from the get-go.

Turkey would not let us fly over their air space and I don't think there is any real trust with the Saudis.

Maybe between the time the President got his permission slip from Congress to strike Iraq, the WMDs had already been moved.

I would say based on real life relationships with our Middle Eastern "allies" and the intelligence we have that it is obvious we need an airbase in Iraq to defend ourselves here at home.

FWIW, the last time American's started building bomb shelters was when Russia and Cuba got together....I don't think the visit by the President of Iran to Cuba is to soak up the sun on the beach!

Continuing to pray in the Name of all that is Holy that everything is exposed, exposed, exposed.

Government is causing our children to "pass through the fire" and that blood of American children, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers is precious to me.
May it cry out against those who would cover, withhold, subdue and subvert truth for whatever reason and in whatever way. And may that blood testify and be brought to bear against those who obfuscate while they pretend to lead because it was shed to protect liberty not to create or increase tyranny.

I agree. I also would like to see a strong 2 party system. But, the reality is that the democRATS are being currently run by the Howie Dean/George Soros/MoveOn left wing moon bats. They are NOT going to give the party back to the Zell Millers or the Joe Liebermans of the world. My prediction is that after the 2008 Presidential election,(another defeat) there will be no democRAT party as we know it. It will be nothing more than a small, very vulgar, very loud bunch of hard core leftists.

Someone will need to have the gonads to create a new version of the democRAT party. And it won't be easy. The leftists will do everything within their power to defeat the creation of a viable, new democRAT party.

To sum it up: The democRAT party of old is dead. And it would take an exorcism approved by the Pope to remove the evil currently running the party.

The fact that he's writing a book goes to solidify his claims rather than cast doubt over them. His publisher probably did at least a little due diligence and if he's lying, he won't sell any books.

Meaning that Democrat congresscritters never believed a word out of their mouths while mouthing the "Bush lied/misled us into war" rhetoric. They knew their "base" would believe them.

This is the part that completely baffles me. If Saddam wanted sanctions lifted, all he had to do was cooperate with weapons inspectors. If he DIDN'T want them lifted because he was making too high a profit from the blood for oil vouchers scam, then more employees of the UN were complicit in that hideous debacle than originally thought.
