I still believe two strong National parties that are founded on a love for America is our best bet.

I doubt you'll find much disagreement with that sentiment around here. I completely agree with you. However, the Dems ceased being a strong, America-loving party long ago. They need to right the ship, and quickly.

Exactly. Although at times it doesn't seem like there are very many, there are some cooler heads in the Democratic Party.

Their largest problem is how to 'shuck off' the loony left and steer themselves back toward responsible government. They'd still be a party of big government, but that's where the 'arena of ideas', as Rush puts it, comes into play.

I'd rather have the Republicans and another party, maybe the Constitution Party, as the strong ones.

We don't need no stinkin' socialists, we have plenty of RINOs to perform that function.
