I am appalled that he would use this opportunity to bash the President, but not really surprised. :-(

Well, I wish it was as innocent as a college rivalry and simply being against the other side. We must start understanding that these people do not hate Bush, that is not their agenda. They hate him because they see their socialist efforts of many years being thwarted, Bush simply represents the real America that they have been fighting against.

Well there is another aspect to it. It is more than a rivalry. Liberalism has become their religion of sorts. They personally identify with liberalism and hate everyone "on the other side". It's quite simple and shallow. They no more hate Bush than they hate Delay or hate Rush. They only "hate" them if you want to call it that because Bush, Delay, Rush, etc are quarterbacks and running backs for the rival team they despise.
