I'm glad I'm not the only one who's had that question. someone said to pray from your heart, God hears you and knows your intentions.
I've seen prayer requests done so many ways, having attended Sunday School in military chapels and civilian churches all over. Some folks like to have a name to pray for, and others simply pray 'for all who need Your help'.
I've seen prayers lifted with eyes open, looking Heavenward, and with head bowed and eyes closed.
I guess the key point is that your prayer request for others is as personal as your own conversations with God, and however you feel comfortable talking with God is how you should put forward your requests. The only wrong way to pray is pointed out in the Bible, in the case of the Pharisee.

Greetings, FReepers, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!
Reporting LIVE! from the LSA in overcast and breezy Kuwait, its the continuing saga of Sarge's Most Excellent Adventure! What an interesting time Sarge and his fellow travelers have had these past few days! We got back to theater late on Tuesday night, got bed and breakfast after nineteen hours in the air and a stop in Frankfurt am Main for two hours. I hit the Canteen for a few hours last night, just as a hailstorm bludgeoned the base with bullet-sized hail and churned everything into that mud yall have read about.
Later that day, we all dragged our bags up to the buses and rode to the tarmac, and waited in the tents for the flight from Iraq to take us into the war zone once again. So, imagine our surprise to find out the plane was delayed after catching fire in the air and made a slow trip here
.
Needless to say, were all still in Kuwait, for at least another day (whew, I said that with a straight face)
Sarge will be in and out as access permits, so Yall Have Fun!

(((SARGE!!!)))
My goodness, it is sooooo good to hear from you..and to see that shadow. I am thankful you guys weren't on that plane when it caught fire. I guess you'll just have to "suffer" another whole day in Kuwait! Stay safe, hero!
