Do you think you could ask him what he thinks is the reason that so many women in Afghanistan are still wearing their burqas...

Hey, Tx...my understanding is that many women are still afraid. Afraid that the Americans will leave, the Taliban who are lurking in the shadows will resume power, and they'll be punished for disobeying the extremist laws. They're glad we're there, but they still don't trust that we're not just going to pull out and leave them at the mercy of the Islamofascists once more. Sad, isn't it? I'm so thankful to have been born an American.
