8 out of 10 "at some point", like when they were 18 or 19? And what's the comparison figure for heterosexual men?

An incredible story, and an inspiration to all Christians to continue to fight our sinful natures.

BTTT - one of the best articles on homosexuality I've read in a long time, insider's view, and interesting discussion on the thread.

And a bunvh of links for those who want to learn more.

This thread needs to get bumped a lot.

This guy writes like Midge Decter: Laser-like.

If more conservative politicians had half the powerful craft of words as this, the hearts of people would be moved as well as the culture.

My cousin was a gay man in the New York scene. We were close, both being only children, with me spending a lot of time in my aunts house.

He lived an unhappy and depressed life, and died of AIDS in his 30's, twenty years ago. Once he was hospitalized, his gay friends had better things to do than visit.

A really long way of telling people what most already know. Interesting nontheless. But kind of long.

She believed it would be a learning experience. It was, but not the sort she had in mind.

Learning experience bump

Does anyone have any ideas on how to conduct oneself at a company "diversity" "training" session? I've been through one of these before, and it was very pro-homosexual. I wish I could say that I was a hero and spoke up, but like everyone else there, I didn't. :-(

I suspect that the time will come when I will be faced with this again, and I'm wondering if anyone else out there has had experience with speaking up at one of these things and how they did it, and what was the outcome? Did they get canned, or black-balled?

He had many permanent committed relationships, some lasting more than a month.

I dont know, but to me, having sex with just one person for a month really doesn't qualify as a committed relationship. Just a long tryst, until you get bored.

PERMANENT and COMMITTED suggest a long involved time frame.

see post 76. Dismissing it as a choice is not naive. Whether or not certain external social factors led one to homosexuality does not negate the fact that that homosexual chose his path. Plenty of straight guys lived with the same types of factors and chose to avoid the appeal of the unnatural and perilous lifestyle.

Great article! The thorough explanation of the homosexual delusional conspiracy probably also applies perfectly to the other sexually deviant sub-cultures.

I firmly believe that 1. while dispising traditional culture, the left uses homosexuals and feminazis to destroy the Church. But at the same time there seeming alliance with Islam is one of convinience. They think that if the Islamics grow strong enough, they will scare the people who, lacking the Church, will run to the Socialists for protection. Then the Left will slay the boogyman Islam. Of course they will never be able to control the beast they summon and like many a necromancer will be swallowed up by their own creation.

A little sarcasm there. Most folks are able to recognize so blatant a case of it as this is without sirens and flashing lights.

"Because rump rangers are not responsible for their own behavior and we need to give them entitlements."

They of course are responsible no matter what the cause. Genetic or choice is irrelevant.

"Its far more choice than biology... "

My whole point is that this has not been proved but regardless of reason everyone is responsible for their actions. The left loves to play the "Cause" game. Don't fall for it. Our objections should be restricted to actions. Responsible people don't give in to every desire generated by our brains.

This is just a really long way of saying that gay men are sexual compulsives. Anybody who spends five minutes in the theatre or dance world knows that dirty little secret.

"So, homosexuality remains a behavior. It's not immutable"You still have not proved your assumption. Everything in your post proves my point. We don't know.

ACTIONS are what is important and why it is so hard for certain people on the FR to understand this Conservative point of view is beyond belief.

Sometimes I have a desire to punch some stupid posters in the face. Genetic anger (my father had a temper) or choice, I don't know and don't care, the point is I don't punch people in the face because I have freewill and don't give into such desires.

How many times have we all seen someone of the opposite sex and would love to jump into bed yet we don't? Genetics more than likely create the desire or do you suggest heterosexual behavior is only a learned desire?

Why is this so hard to understand? The left has the "Cause" market cornered and we should not thirst to emulate their error. They are more concerned with the reason some maggot abused a child or stole something, etc than the action itself. Stupid thinking IMO.

"It hasn't yet. But every other study has shown that there is no genetic link. Of course the fact that the overwhelming majority of sodomites share one of three environmental characteristics also helps. (Poor or absent relationship with their father, being sexually or otherwise abused, being relentlessly teased by their peer group during the formative years)

So if we are to believe there is NO genetic error or link then I guess the rest of us only desire the opposite sex because of society. That is the only logical conclusion to the "no genetic link to homo sex" theory.

My point is, always has been, that the "cause" is irrelevant. These people seem to feel it is OK to act on their sexual desires no matter how perverted. Gays want to use genetics as an excuse for their behavior and event though I believe SOME are born that way due to a genetic error, it is of ZERO importance.

I don't care if someone lusts for my wife and keeps it to themselves. Once they try to act on that desire, they will meet the business end of the largest gun they have ever seen. The cause of their desire will not be processed by my brain for even a nanosecond before I pull the trigger.
