"Bush should not decide where to put wire taps; An [appointed] judge should make the decision."

And should judges decide how to fight wars? I appreciate your reports, TR. This does not sound good.

I've been busy getting my book published - and learning a software called Dreamweaver.

I've even slackened off going to the Dose. I really miss the Dose, but I have to learn this software - it's necessary for my livelihood.

Okay - the publisher is sending it to the editor tomorrow and it should be ready for me to edit in a couple of weeks. The next step will be submitting the edited manuscript back to the publisher for formatting and printing.

After that .. I'm not sure how long it will take. I have already chosen the formatting for the inside - but I still have to select a cover.

I'm expecting it may be a couple of months. I'll be sure and let you know.

Thanks for starting this thread and for the mini-report on the panel Bob Barr was participating on today. Interesting that Barr got booed. I wonder if they will edit it out of the CPAC tapes of the event like MSM does for certain people.

I couldn't get away from work to attend today, so I'm grateful for news from CPAC. Hope I have a chance to see you tomorrow -- I'll be there early afternoon.

From Townhall: Santorum electrifies CPAC crowd:

[Santorum] launched into the most powerful part of his speech. He told the crowd about an exchange he had on the Senate floor with Hillary Clinton during the partial birth abortion debate. Santorum was using pictures that illustrated the barbaric nature of the procedure when Clinton objected. The junior Senator from New York complained that the pictures were inaccurate. Where are the pictures of "fetuses" with "swollen heads" and other deformities, she asked. Santorum told Clinton that he would be happy to use pictures of pre-born babies with deformities but that frankly, it did not make a bit of difference because he saw no distinction, because, as he explained to the CPAC audience, conservatives "do not see the difference between a child with a disability and a perfectly formed child."

Having put most of the left-wing political movement and many liberal Democrats on his payroll, it is apparent that George Soros is now working to manipulate the conservative movement. It is surprising that CPAC is facilitating his scheme. (emp. mine)

If this is true, then CPAC is no longer viable.

Grover Norquist might be behind the Muslim thing. Who knows? Barr is a disgrace and must be kicked out of the Conservative Movement. You say Soros is infiltrating, but you have to know that nobody is accepting input openly from Soros, so who are the ones who are carrying Soros's water at CPAC, either wittingly or unwittingly. Inquiring minds want to know...
