I have no idea....
I posted it on my blog and a friend of mine sent it to her son (and a bunch of his pals) on a navy destroyer in the gulf. Since it was in Wikipedia, I cannot believe that my post created it - nor Free Republic's for that matter. But - I can't even find a reference with a google search.
Your a navy mom - do you have an resources to check?
I will try to find out...my son is a sub nuc warfare officer...I will ask him and if he has any idea, I will post his answer......it's weird.
I just talked to my son and he says the only thing he can think of would be that - even though he thought it was funny himself - he said that the navy would not like that video because it shows navy guys goofing off, on a ship, and not doing their job...and the tax payers were paying for them...he said it would be considered tastless. Again, he said he has no idea for sure - but that is his take on it...
