When the Taleban blew up the ancient statues of Buddha in Afghanistan, there were no spontaneous or state-sponsored demonstrations in the Islamic world demanding that the feelings of Buddhists should be spared. Furthermore, the cartoonists and commentators of the Middle East have never been sparing with their insults of other people or of other people’s beliefs.

In Egypt, one of the more tolerant of Middle Eastern countries, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is available everywhere on the streets, often with accompanying caricatures straight out of Der Sturmer. My copy of The Protocols was printed and published in Kuwait, in a series devoted to Islamic philosophy for students, complete with a preface asserting its authenticity, as proof of which the endorsement of the Times in 1920 was quoted, but not the almost immediate retraction after further investigation by a writer on the Times conclusively demonstrated that The Protocols was an egregious forgery.

I'll add another apostasy to the Islamic world. The Gospel of Barnabas is currently a best-seller in the Arab world. Among other things, it says that Christ wasn't crucified, and that Judas was substituted at the last minute. It sells a million copies a year, literally.

Needless to say, the Gospel of Barnabas is a 13th Century Arab forgery - there is no serious debate on this subject. But Muslims everywhere continue to propagate this "gospel" as truth, and as a way to attack Chistianity.

It is as great a slam against Christianity as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

The moslems need to realize that the west will not live under Sharia law. Their only option is to kill us all and that won't happen. It's becoming more apparent that moslems think they are indestructible and can do anyting they want because they are destructible (willing to die). That's what they think their ace in the hole is. And why they are getting more and more in the face of free people. I think it's a bluff by the imams using the followers as fodder.

But they have a problem, we in the west like our G-d and we also like our "stuff". We like to drink, we like music, we like to masturbate, we like to wash out butts any way we want, we like to wear gold, we like to have a pet dog, we like bacon, we live TV, etc. We mostly like freedom. So, if the moslems want to ratchet up their activity and make their way up to the point we see something that makes 9/11 look small they beter realize that once the west and the people in the west take their gloves off we will make their barbarism look like childsplay.
