Complete Olympic Schedule (Presumably updated with Results)
I was down there across the river from you to watch a HS playoff football game in the fall.
I like it down in your area.
I go to Ripley atleast twice a year (Cedar Lakes)
So have I, I have always, always disliked that song. His answer to war and hunger was... no religion, no heaven, no possessions, no countries.
Isn't it always? I'm a STAR, look at me. I'm very sorry to hear she is there.
Am posting from the San Jose (CA) airport; my flight is delayed by an hour (same o same o). The opening ceremony is on the TV, but nobody is watching.
Have never been there. might check it out sometime.
Oh yeah, he was very cute -- much cuter than Marty Milner. They shot one episode in the city near my small hometown at the time and we were all excited about it; can't remember the plot for it. Maybe I can find it online.
When John wrote the song it fit the times. Now it seems to be only a way to get Yoko on camera.I liked the song when I was a kid but I have grown up & see things a bit differently now.I Liked his last album.
Small world. I go to Cedar Lake too. That's where we go for our yearly Pastor's School. Sort of like continuing education. I like to go up for the big craft show too.
cool,
my dad lives in Lancaster.
Gotta go now...just wanted to say thanks again for the thread...had a great time, and some great laughs. Look forward to sharing the games with FRiends here. G'night.
Sounds about right. Maybe things will perk up in a few hours when the US comes in to the area.
The Stanford Band is more creative than this...
"The cows at the beginning were pointless"
Oh, absolutely not! The cows were terrific and make perfect sense! The Italian Alps are filled with little villages and country homes that raise cows and produce incredible cheese or make the milk used for milk chocolate.
Yep, I go there for a church camp with my grandma. Nobody near my age goes, but I love talking about Jesus and praying with the older folks.
You would enjoy it. They have a web site. You can see son's picture there. Ohio Valley Opry.
Has the Official Olympics Site been posted?
I loved this
Electrifying
Somehow I missed this
cool. I will have to check it out.
btw..
it looks like you may get some snow.
Well, I found a list of the episode titles and will have to click on each one to find the location, but it'll be fun reminiscing.
"NBC seemed to think that I somehow care about foreign athletes"
I would venture to guess that maybe up to 50% of all the Olympic athletes actually live and/or train in the US. They represent other countries, but they live here and so many people are interested in seeing them.
You're a good boy. Well, I started out with Opera and ended up at the Opry. Think it's time for me to say goodnight.
