I thought the same thing when they showed it on Fox yesterday. You could see that they found it amusing also.
I do think he was a little more succinct when he spoke about the NSA flap.

What??? Care to elaborate? Unchecked illegal immigration and expansion of welfare benefits just off the top of my head.

The problem is, any Bush policy that would merit a substantiative objection that we would make is also wanted by the democrats, liberals in general, and the press.THIS was your statement.
You actually think that the democrats, liberals and the press are opposed to expansion of welfare benefits (OR illegal immigration)? LOL! Surely you jest, William.
You clearly could not have actually meant what you said. Typo?

His private statements were basically no different from what he's said in public. Imagine that. He says what he means and means what he says.

But reporters were the ones doing the listening in this time. Oh! Aren't they the brave ones!
What a bunch of self-important jerks these reporters are. They behave like petulant children.
There is zero news in this story. They are just full of hatred and jealousy.
Some editor must be embarrassed this story was written, because it has been pulled from the "Headlines" on the Comcast home page. I had to used cache to find it.

I guess leftists ARE capable of embarrassment if they act stupid enough and the public has a chance to observe it.

It is a weekend, and except for weather reports, it is "fill the space" time on the AP farm.

What about Clymer, though?
Clymer has become a legend in his own name. ;-)
