I rarely even go to the movies anymore, has to be a megahit movie to get my attention so like last year I went maybe 3 times total. I just wait a while and it will be on DVD.
Cinemas are dead, evertbody is getting widescreens and besides the popcorn is wayyyy cheaper when you do it yourself.

I give the cinema house industry less than five years to go unless they can create a memorable viewing experiance I cannot do at home.

Daniel,
I get together with one of my pals every so often to see a movie but not like we used to. Its just such a scene with cell phones, 15 minutes of advertisements ( no movie previews - actual ads) talking, out of focus films, and on and on.
I used to think a private movie club would be the way to go. With membership fees, screening of members, dinner available, a bar etc, etc. But your right - the days of the movie house are coming to an end.
