This whole thing is approaching the point of farce because of the rabid zeal of the likes of Gregory. You could just see the rabidness today. They were denied a kill and they're not happy.
Already the comedians have pounced on the story and by tomorrow the water-cooler jokes will have completely ventilated the one story they hoped for and lost.
