I just got home a short while ago and was listening to Leon Panetta saying how the V.P. needs to make a public statement in front of the press and say how sorry he feels over what happened. Aren't we still waiting for Bill Clinton to apologize for his behavior and for lying repeatedly to the American people, committing perjury, and just plain being an a-hole?
Panetta needs to sweep in front of his own doorstep before setting down mandates for V.P. Cheney.

My wife is a nurse in a cardiologist office and there is information traveling throughout the physician's corridor that some MSM are posing as cleaning crew trying to get to his room. I don't know how true it is but I wouldn't put it past them.

This whole NON story is just another example of the Dinosaur Media's self abuse fixation. Go back and ADD them up. Start with 2000 and all the hyperventilation about how Bush should concede because Gore won the Popular Vote. Then just start counting. Stemcells, 911 Commiss, Joe Clarke, Palme, Afgainstan, Iraq, Armorgate, Abu Graibe, Downing Street, RatherGate, Fitzmus, Katerina etc etc etc etc.
There have been DOZENS AND DOZENS of these hysteric hissy fits by the Failed Media. These circuses matter to the Junk Journalists and the Talking Heads and NO ONE ELSE. How many times to we have to go thru these Dinosaur Media hissy fits before Conservatives wake up to how knee jerk hostile the Failed Media is to everything WE support? It was unfortunate that Dick Cheney had to go and shoot a lawyer. Really.
He gets a lot of criticism for waiting several hours to tell the public about it.
I wonder how it would be if he were a Democrat, would he have spoken up any quicker?
