Guess it is a good thing that doc who supposedly saw him first didn't just send him on home, like he says he wanted.

IF he took a "turn for the worse," it likely has more to do with his being 78 years old than having been peppered with bird shot (based upon the doctor's report).

Man, I hope he doesn't die. The press would have a field day. Even if it wasn't due to the shotgun pellets, it would be a circus.

Hate to say it, but he'll probably catch some kind of bacteria infection from simply being in the hospital. And who knows where it'll go from there........

Drudge now says he suffered a "heart irregularity".
Somebody better put 24/7 protection on this elder.
Nothing better for the liberals and the MSM to see this guy expire in the hospital right now.
At the very least, we should make David Gregory be a taster for him.

(AP) WASHINGTON The man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney has shown signs of having suffered a heart attack due to his wounded, medical doctors said Tuesday. The doctors at the hospital in Corpus Christi say they've been consulting with White House doctors about Harry Whittington's treatment. The report said the victim, prominent Republican attorney Whittington of Austin, was retrieving a downed bird and stepped out of the hunting line he was sharing with Cheney. "Another covey was flushed and Cheney swung on a bird and fired, striking Whittington in the face, neck and chest at approximately 30 yards," the report said.
Can these people write?

I'm sure that the libbies can't wait for him to die so they call call Cheney a murderer. My prayers are with Mr Whittington. Get well soon!

Per the
Associated Press:
(AP) WASHINGTON The man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney has shown signs of having suffered a heart attack due to his wounded, medical doctors said Tuesday.
Per NBC:
Doctors in Texas say some of the birdshot that Vice President Cheney accidentally fired at a fellow hunter over the weekend has lodged in the man's heart, causing a minor heart attack.
Doctors say Harry Whittington is still in stable condition, and that he showed no chest pain or other signs of a heart attack. They say they have been watching for movement of the birdshot within the body of the 78-year-old man.
The man shot by Vice President Dick Cheney experienced a heart irregularity after birdshot moved into his heart.

I had to turn off Fox. The two infobabes (yeah, I know one's a guy) were breathlessly commenting on the patient's condition by putting the worst possible construction on it that they could. Two really rotten drama queens. Sometimes I hate Fox for the liberal airheads they hire.
