I am not about to get in between the crossfire here, but, as a long time hunter and firearms lover, having one beer at lunch knowing you are going hunting is in and of itself poor judgment IMO. I am not that big of a fan of the country club hunting these guys do in the first place. Further degrading the sport and creating the image that all hunters are using $30,00 guns, following guides and swilling beers just adds to my dismay.

Alcohol and firearms do not mix in any amount. This is a line a true enthusiast and one with respect for the sport will never cross regardless of who you may vote for in November. I hunt, shoot skeet, drink beer and voted for Bush/Cheney twice, but I never get them confused.

Thanks for your honesty.

Having hunted in the past, I also know that one beer is seldom the total consumption.
