I can't help it. It is just making me bonkers - this is such a NON story. This sort of hunting injury happens all of the time, and the key thing was to get the injured man medical attention FIRST! If the VP had alerted the media too early, he would have been accused of CYA tactics, and the resulting media circus may have hindered appropriate aid to his friend.
